Ayzaaz in Wonderland
You all know the story, eat this cake get really small, eat that biscuit get really tall again. It's kind of how I'm feeling at the building site, it's not me that is getting bigger and smaller, it's the space.
So after weeks of patient waiting, you saw the last photos when all the walls had come down , the space looked vast!
It has been fun over the last few weeks, waiting for some structural steels to go in. Removing some plasterboard to find that the stairs and landing for the property upstairs had previously been held up using absolutely nothing but thin air and prayers. That changed the scope of our works a little and we had some more drawings to arrange from our structural engineer.
Over the last two weeks there has been frenzied activity on site. Now it seems it's shrinking again, finally we are seeing the lead lined partitions go up. If you're wondering, yes, they really are lead lined around the surgeries in order to prevent Superman from being able to see into the room while you are being treated there......well not really, it's a compulsory requirement to comply with radiation regulations.
We are starting to see the outline of the final layout take form.
I have been going over the plans again and again trying to make sure I haven't forgotten anything......we will find out soon enough!
The pictures don't really do justice to the progress we have made, first fix starts this week all the plumbing , wiring, cables for computers and network etc and then it's really coming close to the finish line.
We have pencilled in an opening launch event for the 19th November, watch this space closely......details will follow, it will definitely be fun!
